Royal family shared a major update on a key royal member after King Charles made history with the release of his tax bill details.
On Instagram, Palace gave details about Duchess Sophie’s trip to Jersey earlier this week.
In a statement, a royal spokesperson shared, “Her Royal Highness spent time in Jersey, meeting those driving sustainable practices in the Island’s farming and fishing sectors, and learning more about efforts to educate young people on the origins of their food.
“Her Royal Highness also visited Les Écréhous, in what is believed to be the first visit from a Member of the Royal Family, met with @EyecanJersey, a charity supporting islanders living with sight impairment, and attended a reception for the @NSPCC_Official, of which The Duchess is Patron.”
This latest post by the royal family came after King Charles became the first monarch in history to reveal how much text he paid personally.
In the 2024/25 tax year, Charles paid £12.9 million in tax and has voluntarily contributed over £30 million since ascending to the throne.
