A special occasion pulled Michael Jackson’s son Prince Jackson out of hiding four months after late father’s biopic, titled Michael, hit cinemas.
On Saturday, August 29, the eldest child of the King of Pop and Debbie Rowe made a surprise appearance Michael Jackson ONE show held at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino for Cirque du Soleil.
Set to the late singer and dancer’s greatest hits, the special celebration marked what would have been the pop icon’s 68th birthday.
The 29-year-old’s public appearance comes months after Michaelpremiered in April, starring Jaafar Jackson, Prince’s real-life cousin, as the Beat It hitmaker.
Reflecting on his father’s legacy, which is most recently featured in the 2026 biopic, the American philanthropist shares, “It has been so special for me to see the impact that this film has had.”
“It is really cool to see this new generation become exposed to his music and his message, and I am hopeful it will make the world a better place,” he told People.
The film’s cast also includes Colman Domingo as family patriarch Joseph Jackson, Nia Long as Katherine Jackson and Juliano Krue Valdi as the younger version of Michael, in addition to Jaafar, 30, who was cast in the titular role after a worldwide search.
