Taylor Swift’s stardom is not bound by genres, and she has proven it once again by ruling the country music charts with her song, I Knew It, I Knew You.
The 36-year-old pop superstar marked her 13th song on the country radio charts with the Toy Story 5 track, and the news took over the Swiftie side of the internet.
Not only the fans, but Country Radio Broadcasters Inc. executive director RJ Curtis himself commented on Swift’s return to the genre, saying, “I have said for a while now that given the right song, country radio will support her again and welcome her back with open arms, and it looks like she delivered in a huge way.”
The Grammy winner’s recent focus on the country genre has convinced fans that her upcoming album, TS13, might also be a country album and she might be paving the way to launch it, with the ongoing promotion.
Flocking to social media, one fan wrote, “the concept of Taylor’s country rooted song having #13!!! THE NUMEROLOGY Y’ALL,” and “Queeen!!!”
While a third mused, “oh ts13 the country album that you are,” and “Her country roots reviving.”
Whereas someone penned, “When will she update something on her instagram or release any new content I miss her so much.”
