Kirstie Allsopp has given fans a health update a week after she was rushed to hospital in an air ambulance.
It is pertinent to mention that the Location, Location, Location presenter, 55, underwent surgery on her leg following a fall on a ‘muddy patch on a steep path’ at a beach in Devon.
As of now, Kirstie shared a sweet selfie, beaming with smile, as she informed her social media followers about how she is feeling after the horrific incident.
She penned: ‘So.. 1 week & 1 day after the surgery there is quite a lot of feeling in my toes and all the way up my leg, but I’m learning and healing and this exercise in patience and humility may turn out to be good for me.
‘I wanted to say Thank You So Much to everyone who helped me get to today and for all your kind and cheering messages.
‘I have hired a gamereadyhireuk which is a genius invention, I highly recommend it.’I got sent a book by @biscuiteersltd which is very inspiring & we are going to go ahead and film the Christmas show in October as planned.
‘I will be sitting down with my leg stuck out, but we’ll work around it.
‘Occasionally the boys pop in to chat and bring friends, although next week they will both be at uni and my leg looks like I’ve been bitten by a shark, but there are grapes & Frasier and I may publish a book called A Leg with a View next year.’
Meanwhile, her co-star Phil Spencer sent his well wishes in the comments section, writing:”You’re being very brave & stoical. Be still & heal properly. Xx’
