Lady Gaga is stepping into motherhood – with backlash.
The Die with a Smilehitmaker, 40, welcomed first baby with fiancé Michael Polansky on Saturday, September 12 as per Page Six.
Right after the birth news, the singer was photographed taking a stroll with Polansky holding the baby near to her chest as they casually walk around the streets of Northern California.
However, the singer was not spotted with the baby bump anytime soon before the birth. Rumours suggest that the couple might have welcomed the baby via surrogate, though, none of the claim has answered.
As soon as the outing pictures went viral on the internet, the Bad Romancecrooner faces backlash for her body shape as there were no visible signs of baring a baby.
On Instagram, one user commented: “Really? That’s all the belly she has after giving birth? I looked pregnant for a few months afterwards! Congratulations Lady Gaga. Enjoy that baby.”
Other added: “I wonder if it was a rented belly?” Another suggested if it’s via “Surrogate or have we not noticed her hiding 6-9 months??? Lol”
On the contrary, many questioned the age of the newborn by looking at the size of the baby.
A comment read: “Newborn? Do you know how a newborn is? This baby looks like a 2 or 3 months-old”
While another added: “That’s not a newborn. That baby is about 3 months old.”
Third user chimed in: “That is not a newborn lol.”
Meanwhile many fans enjoyed the news, gushed the baby, “thanks” paparazzi for blurring the baby’s face and congratulated the new parents.
