Taylor Swift is expected to attend the MTV VMAs this Sunday, September 27, and it seems like the award ceremony will include more surprises for fans than they expect.
The 36-year-old pop superstar just announced her single, Patient Zero, to be released on September 25, two days before the award show.
Following her official announcement, the award show’s official social media account shared a cryptic post, with the caption, “You didn’t hear it from me, but I’ve got some tricks up my sleeve for this year’s VMAs. [wink emoji].”
Swifties were immediately convinced that the “trick” is related to the Grammy winner because it was a direct reference to her evermore song, cowboy like me.
