Katie Price’s whirlwind fourth marriage has taken a dramatic turn after her husband Lee Andrews, who vanished 11 days ago, was confirmed to be under arrest in Dubai.
Andrews married Price just after 10-day whirlwind romance, a decision that sparked speculation about whether he was the right partner for the former glamour model.
Early reports also suggested that Price would move to Dubai after the wedding, fueling further questions about the relationship.
His father, Peter Andrews, told the Daily Mail that Lee “is OK” but detained by UAE authorities.
“He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don’t know on what charge. I’m not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today,” he said.
As per Daily Mail, a police source also confirmed: “Lee Andrews has been arrested.”
Dubai Police chief Brigadier Khalid Khalifa al Avadhi later revealed Andrews is the subject of “many cases,” primarily fraud related warrants.
The arrest ends days of speculation after Andrews sent Price disturbing videos of himself hooded and bound, claiming he had been kidnapped.
His ex-wife told the Daily Mail she was not surprised by the detention, alleging he had around 20 fraud warrants and describing him as manipulative and violent.
She claimed he broke her nose and eardrum, stole money and jewelry, and even took her engagement ring; the same one Price now wears.
