King Charles and Queen Camilla led the King’s birthday parade, which is the fourth in the reign of the ruling monarch, on Saturday afternoon.
All the senior working members of the royal family had attended, including the Prince and Princess of Wales. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were also present.
The monarch traditionally rides on horse-back for the ceremony, but since Charles is still undergoing cancer treatment, the protocol was adjusted due to his health.
He instead rides in the carriage along with his wife, Queen Camilla.
The Wales children: Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8, all rode in the carriage with their mother Princess Kate, while Prince William was riding on horseback.
The children appeared in good spirits as they waved to the crowds passing by. Charlotte was dressed in white, which matched the details of her mum’s dress.
Meanwhile, George and Louis were dressed in navy suits with matching powder blue shirts and ties.
Since Prince Edward and Princess Anne will be riding horseback during the parade, Duchess Sophie and Anne’s husband Sir Tim Laurence shared a carriage together.
On the other hand, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester also appeared to be in good spirits as they rode together.
Once the parade is over, the royals will gather at the balcony to watch the flypast together.
