Ariana Grande just got a new tattoo, and it’s one that has been seen before on her on-again beau, Ricky Álvarez.
The pop star showed off a new “I do love you” ink on her collarbone as she kicked off her 10-day residency in London’s O2 Arena on Saturday, August 15, which marks the final leg of her Eternal Sunshine Tour.
Álvarez previously showed off his version of the phrase in an Instagram post shared in July 2025.
Grande, 33, and Alvarez, 35, first dated in 2015, when he worked as one of her backup dancers. However, the pair split up the following year.
Álvarez later received a memorable mention in Grande’s 2018 hit Thank U, Next, in which she sang: “Wrote some songs about Ricky, now I listen and laugh.”
But while performing the song during her eternal sunshine tour stop in Austin, Texas back in June, the Grammy-winner changed the lyrics to: “Wrote some songs about Ricky, I know he still got my back.” She later changed the lyrics again, singing, “We always find our way back.”
The pair made their reconciliation official last week when Grande shared two photos with Álvarez on Instagram and tagged him in both.
