Bella Hadid has thanked fans after they flooded her with love and support after her emotional post about living with Lyme disease.
The model, 29, recently shared that she was going through another difficult flare up of her illness.
Bella said that even simple things had become hard, leaving many fans worried about her health.
After receiving thousands of supportive messages, the supermodel returned to Instagram to reassure everyone.
“Hi. I’m sorry if I worried anyone,” she wrote. “I know it sounds jarring, but in full truth it’s my reality so it’s something I’m able to cope with to a capacity now.”
Gigi Hadid’s sister then explained that this has been part of her life for the past 15 years and said she simply became emotional because her body could not keep up with what she wanted to do.
“I’m sorry if I startled anyone. This truly is an everyday ebb and flow for me, for the past 15 years.
I just had an overwhelming amount of emotion over not being able to do the things my mind is capable of setting, but my body is not capable of doing.”
In her earlier post, Bella shared a tearful selfie and said she became out of breath just by walking to the kitchen.
She also revealed that even after sleeping for 11 hours, she still needed naps.
The American fashion model added that she had tried treatments recommended by different doctors, but nothing was helping.
Bella ended her message by thanking everyone for their kindness.
“Thank you for all your support. I wasn’t expecting it, but I’m truly grateful. I love you guys so much.”
