Princess Beatrice turns 38 just days after Princess Eugenie and Jack welcomed their third child, wrapping the house of York in double royal joy.
It’s a welcome lift for both sisters in August, following months of difficult headlines surrounding their parents.

Beatrice’s celebrations carry an extra touch of sweetness this year. While she’s already a doting aunt to Eugenie’s two sons, August and Ernest, the arrival of a baby girl marks the first time she gets to welcome a niece into the family.

The royal and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, had welcomed their second child together – Athena Elizabeth Rose – in January that year.
The couple’s eldest daughter, Sienna, was born in September 2021, while property developer Edoardo also has a ten-year-old son, Wolfie, from his previous relationship with Dara Huang.
Eugenie and Beatrice have largely kept out of the spotlight this year following the latest developments surrounding their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Earlier this year, the former Duke of York left his Windsor home following a public outcry over his “peppercorn rent” and moved to the Sandringham estate. He was later arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office before being released.
The sisters were also absent from the traditional royal Easter Sunday gathering, with King Charles understood to have agreed to their absence amid the ongoing scrutiny surrounding their father.
Edo and Beatrice were recently faced with rumours of marriage difficulties back in March and have yet to address them publicly.
