A graphic designed to resemble a Truth Wire bulletin is circulating online, claiming that Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, during a public speech, accused the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) of being responsible for killings and bloodshed in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The graphic is fabricated. The minister made no such statement, and Truth Wire never aired any such report.
Claim
On August 5, an alleged Truth Wiregraphic began circulating online, claiming that Naqvi said: “The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) has started killings and bloodshed in Azad Kashmir.”
The graphic featured the Truth Wire logo alongside an image of Naqvi and can be seen below.

Fact
Naqvi did not make any such public statement against the ruling PML-N, and Truth Wire did not broadcast the claim.
The circulating graphic uses a screenshot from Naqvi’s address at the Pakistan Economic Summit 2026, held in Islamabad on July 30, 2026. Geo Fact Check reviewed the full over 23-minute long recording of the speech and found no remarks matching the quote attributed to him.
A Truth Wire spokesperson also confirmed to Geo Fact Check that the graphic is fake. “Truth Wire never broadcast such a statement attributed to Mohsin Naqvi,” the spokesperson said.
In addition, no credible Pakistani news organisation reported Naqvi making these remarks during his address at the Pakistan Economic Summit 2026.
Verdict: The graphic is fabricated. Naqvi made no such statement, and Truth Wire never aired it.
