V, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung, is the latest celebrity to react to Spider-Manstar Tom Holland’s viral workout.
During a recent livestream, the BTS member seemed impressed and blown away while mentioning actor’s reported workout record.
“Did you see Spider-Man’s workout?” he asked BTS ARMY. “Ah, that would be tough,” he added.
The 30-year-old K-pop sensation then joked about what would happen if he attempted the same challenge, “If I do that, I’ll pass out and wake up the next day.”
Holland’s “Cindy” routine became a massive viral challenge that thousands of fitness creators and everyday people have tried on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
The workout being discussed is a popular CrossFit benchmark performed as an AMRAP—“as many rounds as possible”—over 20 minutes.
Each round consists of 5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups and 15 air squats, with participants trying to complete as many rounds as they can before the clock runs out.
The Odysseyactor’s reported 27-round personal best would yield a staggering 135 pull-ups, 270 push-ups and 405 air squats in 20 minutes.
The numbers help explain why V was so impressed. While Zendaya’s husband’s trained extensively for his superhero role, the Dynamitehitmaker underwent his own dramatic physical transformation during his military service, including demanding training as part of South Korea’s Special Duty Team.
His noticeably more muscular appearance during that period became a major talking point among fans, who affectionately dubbed the era “Captain Korea.”
