In the dimly red-lit snap, the Radical Optimism songstress can be seen leaning over a dessert and blowing out a birthday candle. The sweet treat appears to be decorated with an assortment of colourful macarons.
For the occasion, the Albanian-American pop star looked effortlessly chic in a sleek black dress, with her dark hair worn loose and cascading over her shoulders and down her back.

The early birthday celebration came on a particularly significant day for the Grammy winner, as August 21 also marked 11 years since she released her debut single, New Love, in 2015.
