Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly made an unexpected move to secure their permanent place in Britain.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have sought help from a mutual friend as they plan to settle in Harry’s homland.
Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, quietly advised the Sussexes after making their own move to the UK.
And for Harry, the guidance was especially valuable. Despite being British, the prince has spent most of his life inside royal residences and has little experience about the property market
“Harry knows Britain, but he doesn’t know British real estate,” a source tells Rob Shuter.
“He’s never had to think about neighborhoods, privacy, security or whether a house actually works for his family. Those decisions were always made around him.”
The former talk-show host and Meghan have known each other for years, while Ellen and Portia have firsthand experience relocating to Britain as internationally recognisable celebrities.
