Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could be in bigger trouble owing to his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson devises her own plans amid Epstein investigation.
According to reports, the Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s mum has quietly returned to the UK at the heels of Prince Harry and Meghan’s comeback, “deliberately” timing it to avoid any major attention.
While the location is not disclosed, Fergie has acquired a six-bedroom home in UK months after being booted out of the Royal Lodge alongside her ex-husband. Despite finding an accommodation, Fergie’s finances have been a major cause for trouble and the immense scrutiny has not helped the situation.
Hence, she is out for “revenge as well as payday”.
Amid speculation of a tell-all interview, royal biographer Andrew Lownie warned that the ex-prince may land in much deeper trouble as Palace “must remain concerned” about Fergie.
There had been a “policy of containment and keeping her inside the tent for fear what royal secrets she might spill” but that seemed to have failed. Andrew “must also be worried”.
Andrew is settled in Sandringham currently but reports claim that the ex-couple are still friendly. Some of Fergie’s belongings were carried by trucks leaving the King’s private estate, suggesting that Andrew had been supporting her during this time.
Meanwhile, Lownie said that there are “more numbers for Ferguson in Epstein’s black book than for Andrew and she continued to regularly stay at Epstein’s properties long after she had publicly disowned him in 2011”.
Fergie is “being protected” for now but she would face the music at some point. She will be questioned at some point by the police on “everything she knows” leaving Andrew more vulnerable and the King unlikely to intervene.
A spokesperson for Sarah Ferguson declined to comment via iPaper. They said they disputed some of the claims above but would not clarify further.
