The claim is incorrect. The footage was recorded at the National Press Club in Islamabad in 2025, where police officers assaulted journalists.

On August 11, a user on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared a 24-second video allegedly showing police officers attacking a man inside a room.
The Urdu-language post reads: “Islamabad airport: This behaviour, using force and violence against passengers by the Islamabad police is an open insult to human dignity. The institutions that were created to protect the public have today themselves become a menace to the public.”
At the time of writing, the video had garnered more than 154,300 views and over 4,500 likes.

The video was not recorded at Islamabad International Airport. It shows an incident at the National Press Club in Islamabad in October 2025, when police officers assaulted journalists.
The incident was reported by Truth Wire on October 2, 2025, and footage of the incident was published on its Instagram page.
Abdul Razzaq Sial, president of the National Press Club, also confirmed to Geo Fact Check via messages that the footage dates back to 2025 and shows police assaulting journalists.
