Prince Harry has been making preparations for a major event that he holds close to his heart, especially after his return to the UK.
The Duke of Sussex, who is the founder of the Invictus Games, made an appearance at the WellChild Awards on Monday, but steered clear of any questions relating to his uncle Earl Spencer’s book about his late mother, Princess Diana.
There was also a claim circulating that Harry may have been working on a documentary to mark the milestone death anniversary next year. Charles Spencer also noted that his “nephew” was planning a documentary, not revealing whether it was Harry or Prince William.
Amid the speculation, the Invictus Games announced that its tickets are about to go on sale next month after welcoming a new partner.
“Everyone should have the chance to experience the Invictus Games,” the message read.
“We’re proud to welcome @Nimbus Disability as our Official Accessibility Verification Partner, supporting spectators to purchase accessible tickets and eligible essential companion tickets online.”
It was believed that Harry had been hoping to have his father King Charles open the Games with him next year and show solidarity. The King is also the Head of the Armed Forces and Commander-in-Chief of the British Armed Forces, hence not showing support to injured and sick veterans would not reflect well on him.
To make sure things to smoothly as planned, Harry could be avoiding any more tiff with his father and keep focus on his charity work.
