This Morning viewers were left stunned after one of the presenters, Alison Hammond, made a quick exit out of the studio during a live broadcast on Friday, October 2, 2026.
During a live call-in segment on This Morning, the presenter was hosting it as usual with co-host Dermot O’Leary about pets at home with studio guest Dr Scott.
All of a sudden, midway through the live beeper, it appeared as though Alison had made a quick exit from the studio.
The eagle-eyed users wasted no time to share their concerns on X (formerly Twitter), as one wrote, “What on earth has happened with Alison? Hope she’s okay.”
Another jumped in and wrote, “I mean. I don’t know about anyone else, but I just can’t concentrate on this phone-in now.” Is Alison okay??”
After This Morning returned from a commercial break, Dermot cleared the air surrounding his co-host’s abrupt exit from the studio.
He said, “Welcome back to This Morning, Alison is feeling a little unwell, so she’s just had to duck out. Hopefully she’ll be back.”
He later informed the breakfast viewers that she wouldn’t be hosting the rest of the show, citing she’s not feeling well.
Alison rose to stardom after she appeared on Big Brother in 2002.
She later went on to appear on Strictly Come Dancing, hosting The Great British Bake Off and For The Love of Dogs.
