Ariana Grande shared an emotional personal message after returning to the London stage following seven-year.
On Saturday, August 15, the 7 Rings hitmaker kicked off her highly anticipated 10-show run at London’s The O2.
Returning to the arena after a seven-year hiatus, she officially reclaimed the stage. The O2 confirms the residency runs through September 1, with all 10 dates listed as sold out.
After an energy packed opening night, the Wickedstar had a simple message for the city: “I love you so much.”

She took to Instagram Stories and shared a blurry image from the concert, writing:
“London, night one… I love you so much, words don’t suffice. Thank you & see you tomorrow,” the Bang Bang songstress captioned the image.
Notably, the opening night was anything but a routine tour stop.
Grande refreshed her setlist with live debuts from her new album petal, performing kiss me and bad thing (bunny hop) for the first time during the tour.
Her return also represents a major milestone for fans who have been waiting years to see Grande headline a London stage again.
Moreover, she has nine more London shows scheduled across August and September, with performances on August 16, 19, 20, 23, 24, 27, 28, 31 and September 1.
For the unversed, Grande performed her first full headline concert in London on 1 June 2015 at the same venue.
The show served as the opening night for the European leg of her first-ever world tour, The Honeymoon Tour, in support of her sophomore album, My Everything.
Prior to this major arena concert, she had only played a tiny, exclusive “secret” promotional showcase in the city for a small crowd at the Rise nightclub in Leicester Square on 9 November 2013 to celebrate her debut album, Yours Truly.
