Beatrice, Eugenie quietly leave UK after King Charles drops bombshell

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie had hoped that their uncle King Charles would be offering them support after suffering from months of turmoil.

The royal family had gathered at Buckingham Palace to mark the Trooping the Colour event and the historic balcony photo was a clear signal to the sisters about their position in the royal family.

Only the senior working members of the family were included, the rest were not sent an invitation. As the royals showed their united front in the UK, Beatrice and Eugenie showed theirs all the way in Austria.

Just as the royal event was over, it was revealed that the sisters had chosen to leave the UK quietly before Trooping began. They instead attended a wedding of the Schwarzenberg family at St. Charles Church in Vienna.

Beatrice was dressed in a shimmering gold wool-blend lamé gown by The Vampire’s Wife. Meanwhile, a pregnant Eugenie opted for a Dark Navy Cashmere Silk dress by Gabriela Hearst.

The appearance comes during a major turn of events as the Princesses are faced with the prospect of evicting their royal homes.

Following the NAO audit report, which revealed that Charles had been paying for their royal residences as they lived rent-free, reports claim that Beatrice and Eugenie have been asked to find their own accommodation.

However, there is no official announcement made on the matter.

Moreover, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams had also warned that royal fans shouldn’t expect the sisters to be making official family appearances soon, especially after they attended their cousin Peter Phillip’s wedding.

“This was a private royal event, therefore it was natural that Beatrice and Eugenie attended and were warmly welcomed,” Fitzwilliams told GB News. “However, their problem remains that they are still in the eye of an unravelling storm, however unfairly, because of their parents, who are notorious.”

He explained, “It will therefore present a problem as their presence at an official royal event would, at this time with their parents in disgrace, overshadow it.”
