Braden Peters, the ‘looksmaxxing’ trendsetter known as Clavicular, has been charged with rape in Massachusetts, court records show.
The reported charges surfaced almost five months after the livestreamer was sued for battery and fraud by an influencer, named Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, in Miami, Florida.
As per the latest reports, that suggests Clavicular has not been arrested yet, while his rep, Mitchell Jackson, told TheWrap that the report of the charges is exaggerated.
“Clavicular has not stepped foot in Cape Cod this month. He’s primarily been in L.A. in a whirlwind media tour. Once again, The Bulwark is exaggerating like a tabloid,” said Jackson.
The lawsuit, which was filed in April in Miami-Dade County, accused Clavicular of battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, fraud, as well as publishing her content without her consent.
The charges framed against Clavicular, 20, include one count of rape, one count of drugging someone for intimate activity, and one count of procuring liquor to a minor, according to a report that appeared in The Bulwark.
Clavicular shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) and addressed the controversy, writing, “Happens to all successful young men, people try to come for your money. Greed is evil.”
The charges were filed against the influencer in the Cape Cod courthouse on September 8, with a hearing date scheduled for October 14, 2026.
