On Saturday, September 5, the pop star, 44, shared a photo of the Babyhitmaker on her Instagram featuring a bold message about identity, success and faith.
“My worth isn’t based on what I did, what I have, who I know, or what people say about me,” the quote read.
It ends with a simple declaration, “I am enough because God created me.”
The Gimme More songstress tagged Bieber, 32, in the caption but did not add another message of her own.
It is pertinent to note that the latest social media post comes after the “Princess of Pop” recently opened up about the lasting impact of her 13-year conservatorship.
In a previous Instagram reflection, she said she still feels people do not fully understand the damage it caused to her “heart and soul.”
Against that backdrop, the Swagsinger’s message about finding worth beyond achievements, possessions and other people’s opinions carries an especially personal tone.
For the unversed, Spears’ conservatorship was a court-ordered legal arrangement that controlled her personal life and finances from February 2008 until it was terminated by a Los Angeles judge on November 12, 2021.
In June 2021, she spoke publicly in court for the first time, calling the arrangement “abusive”, and stating that she was forced to work, take medication, and perform against her will.
