Brooklyn Beckham is reportedly looking beyond the family business — and his billionaire father-in-law Nelson Peltz is said to be helping him figure out what comes next.
According to Heat magazine, the 27-year-old has been “secretly coached” by Nelson as he tries to build his own career away from the Beckham family spotlight.
A source said, “Brooklyn has been getting advice from Nicola’s dad, as he’s the one who suggested that Brooklyn’s best prospects probably lie in doing everyday products.”
The insider claims Nelson has encouraged Brooklyn to turn his fame into a consumer brand, starting with products like his Cloud23 hot sauce.
“Using his fame and name to sell easy consumables such as the hot sauce, that can be sold in volume and built-up product by product,” the insider continued.
“Nelson has told Brooklyn how it will always generate income until one day he’ll have such brand recognition that it will be a logical step to then have loads of restaurants.”
And apparently, Brooklyn has ambitious plans of his own, with insiders claiming he wants to become “wealthier than his famous parents.”
The alleged business mentoring comes as Brooklyn remains estranged from David and Victoria Beckham following his explosive accusations against the family earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Nicola recently made headlines at the Venice Film Festival after being introduced as “Nicola Beckham” while receiving a Rising Star award.
That reportedly did not go down well with Victoria.
‘Victoria can’t help feeling Nicola’s actions are calculating and vindictive. She’s trying her best to move on with her life, despite the feud, but this seems to be a direct provocation from Nicola,’ an insider tells heat.
With the family feud still simmering, it seems the Beckham name remains very much part of the drama — whether anyone wants it to be or not.
