RM, V and J Hope’s backstage moment with Chappell Roan has fans freaking out.
Two very different corners of the music world unexpectedly collided when Roan, whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, posed for photos with BTS members at the K-pop King’s Los Angeles concert.
The Red Wine Supernovasongstress attended the septet’s sold-out ARIRANG tour show at SoFi Stadium earlier this week, where the group was wrapping up the North American leg of its massive comeback tour.
Taking to his Instagram Stories on Friday night, September 4, the BTS leader posted an image of himself posing together with her and other bandmates. He also added a pink heart to the surprising crossover.
As photos from the backstage encounter made their way across social media, fans were quick to react and express their excitement.
“RM, Taehyung, J-Hope and Chappell in the same frame is crazy, my timeline really knows how to keep me fed fr,” one fan wrote.
Another admitted, “BTS x Chappell Roan was NOT on my 2026 bingo card.”
A third summed up, writing, “That moment when two completely different corners of your playlist turn out to be in the same room.”
With the backstage photo fans are dreaming about a potential collaboration.
Notably, the city had proclaimed September 1–8 as BTS Week, celebrating the group’s presence and impact as the members brought their tour to Los Angeles.
