Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are true soulmates — they even share the same birthday!
On Friday, September 25, the power couple — who have been married for almost 26 years — celebrated their joint birthdays as they turned 57 and 82, respectively. Zeta-Jones was the first to mark the occasion by sharing a sweet birthday wish alongside a photo of them kissing on the beach.
“Happy Birthday darling! A birthday kiss to my husband Michael, sharing this special day with you, is as special as the day itself. Love you,” the Oscar-winner gushed.
Douglas later wished his wife a happy birthday as well by sharing an excerpt from his upcoming memoir, One Helluva Ride.
“I had never fallen in love on a movie screen before. Until I saw Catherine,” the film legend wrote. “She was magic, in a way that went beyond beauty. And I was certain, as much as I had ever been about anything, that she was the one. It’s the kind of moment that only comes around once in your life, if you’re lucky. The one time that you know, without any doubt in your mind, that you’re meant to be with someone. Happy Birthday Catherine! I love you always and forever!”
Zeta-Jones and Douglas tied the knot on November 18, 2000, and share daughter Carys Douglas, 23, and son Dylan Douglas, 26.
