Prince William and Prince Harry’s uncle received some upsetting news as “highly suspicious” incident spark tensions.
Princess Diana’s younger brother, Charles Spencer, had vowed to “tell the truth” about one of the most beloved royals in Britain in his new book Swan Song, but a new setback seemed to stirred the pot.
On Tuesday, Dutch police are reportedly investigating the incident where four copies of the book were stolen just days before its release.
“Nothing like this has ever happened before,” a publishing source told the Daily Mail about the theft.
“This is probably the biggest book of the year and the security surrounding it has been incredibly tight,” the source continued.
“Every possible precaution has been taken to prevent it from being leaked ahead of its serialisation. Therefore, this unprecedented incident is being taken extremely seriously.”
Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, which is set to be translated into 12 languages, had caused some concerns for King Charles as his painful past was going to be rehashed in the public once again.
Diana’s brother claimed that he was going to correct “untruths that have become accepted” about the late princess, which includes her childhood, unhappy marriage to Charles and everything that happened her unfortunate car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997.
