Christine McGuinness has opened up about her life after her split from Paddy McGuinness, admitting it will feel ‘strange’ when she and her ex- husband Paddy are no longer living together.
The comments come in light of reports that the comedian, 52, is dating his co-worker Emma Carey following his split from Christine in 2022 after 11 years of marriage.
It is pertinent to mention that the former couple split in 2022, but they decided to continue living together in their family home for the sake of their three children, twins Penelope and Leo, 13, and Felicity, ten, who all have autism.
In a new interview, the former glamour model shared Paddy is still ‘a huge part of her life’ despite the end of their marriage, and they are ‘fortunate’ to have ‘separate wings’ in their Cheshire mansion.
She said: ‘We were married for a long time, I’m very very fortunate that we do still get on. I can’t get rid of him!
‘We have separate wings, we are very fortunate, we have our own space. Even still, I don’t know anybody that would be so comfortable living with their ex.’
In a clip from the upcoming episode of Ireland’s Unfiltered With Lucky Kennedy airing on Sunday she said:”He’s been a huge part of my life, I met him at 19.
‘I suppose, it will be strange living without him one day.
‘But right now, the last three years, we’ve been separated, and it just works, we’ve got our own space, our own thing, we get on really well, and we love our children.
‘And yeah it’s, I think it probably works because we’re not married.’
Christine’s confession comes after it was reported that Paddy enjoyed a meal with his new love interest at the swanky five-star Rosewood Hotel.
