Drake sent fans into a frenzy with debut live rendition of his tracks from latest album, titled ICEMAN.
On Monday night, August 31, the 39-year-old Canadian rapper and singer made a surprise appearance at Don Toliver’s Scotiabank Arena show in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
During the sold-out show amid his ongoing OCTANE Tour’ Nitrous leg (the second/added leg of the tour supporting his album Octane), the 32-year-old American rapper bring out Drake, surprising the crowd.
The Family Matters singer then delivered his first arena performances of tracks from his Billboard 200-topping album, including Shabang, Janice STFU, and Burning Bridges.
Moreover, Toliver publicly praised Drake for inspiring him and hip-hop culture, with the latter reciprocating thanks and sparking fan excitement over potential future collaborations.
“I appreciate you for inspiring us all. You know damn well this shit wouldn’t be this shit if you ain’t do this shit,” Toliver, whose real name is Caleb Zackary “Don” Toliver, stated.
The unforgettable Toronto concert, left other fans from around the world jealous, with one writing, “toronto crowds really dont deserve to keep winning like this.”
And while some requested a collab from the duo others were manifesting an ICEMANtour.
“They singing word for word ICEMANtour boutta be generational!,” a fan noted.
