The Duchess of Edinburgh left guests in a moment of quiet reflection as she delivered a heartfelt speech at the Oscar Foundation Ball in London.
Sophie attended the fundraising evening on Saturday, 26 September, in her role as Royal Patron of the Oscar Foundation.
The charity supports children and young people from marginalised communities through education, football and community programmes.
