New It Takes Two host Ellie Taylor was forced to leave her work commitments and go home just days before Strictly Come Dancing launches its next series after her baby son was taken to A&E.
The comedian and presenter’s son was rushed to hospital after becoming unwell.
It comes after Ellie shared that she and her son had been ill, leaving her ‘poorly toddler crying’ while she went into work.
Over a picture of herself on the train, she wrote: “Ridiculously busy week in work and at home. I’ve picked up a nursery lurgy. Just left my poorly toddler crying and now I wont be home til after midnight. I’m fine actually.”
In another post, she shared that she was frantic on the inside but trying to remain calm. “Ignoring my internal screaming and focusing on my new Barbour,” she wrote, before joking that she was “pretending I’m Sienna”, referring to Sienna Miller.
Just hours later, she updated fans that her son had been rushed to hospital and that she had to go back home for the sake of her children.
“Here I am having it all again,” the star wrote.
“On an already crazy day, the baby has now gone to a&e (he’s guna be absolutely fine) and now I have to pop back home (1h30 round trip) to give my mum some keys so she can let my big girl in after school.”
It is pertinent to mention that Ellie’s son had previously had to go to hospital in April for A&E treatment during a family getaway to the seaside.
