Frankie Muniz has opened up about his life struggles first time in a heartfelt post on social media after divorcing his wife, Paige Price in July.
The Emmy-nominated actor and Malcolm in the Middle star parted ways from his wife, Paige Price, after nearly a seven-year marriage.
“The last six weeks of my life have been a nightmare I’m praying to wake up from,” Muniz wrote next to a photo showing him seated in a chair, deep in thought.
“Everything felt heavy, unclear, and like it was falling apart at the same time. I wouldn’t wish this season on anyone,” Muniz explained the agonising moments he has been through.
In a lengthy post, however, Muniuz didn’t discuss his divorce decision but said the “unexpected gift” of his troubles is that he’s “had nowhere to hide.”
Muniz, while concluding his post, left a message that hits differently: “It’s the part where I start doing the work…the uncomfortable, unglamorous, necessary work. If you’re in a low place right now too, you’re not broken. You’re being rebuilt. Let’s keep going!”
Muniz, a former child star best known for his early 2000s roles in Big Fat Liarand Agent Cody Banks returned to his breakout role in Malcolm in Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair, which premiered in April this year.
What led Frankie Muniz to hit rock bottom?
Besides acting, Muniz has been a star on the racetrack, completing various races since 2004.
In 2021, Muniz made a comeback to stock car racing with the SRL Pro Late Model series, followed by stints in the ARCA Menards Series in 2022 and 2023.
He currently competes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driving the No. 33 Ford F-150 for Team Reaume.
