Freddy Brazier’s pet dog, Pablo, will not be euthanized, despite attacking Freddy and his grandmother Jackie Budden.
The 21-year-old son of the late Jade Goody and TV presenter Jeff Brazier revealed that his dog, Pablo, latched onto his arm, leaving a 3cm wound that required emergency hospital treatment.
Despite his injuries, Freddy insists he does not blame Pablo and says the dog is ‘like my son.’
The pocket bully is currently in police custody, and Freddy has been given seven days, up until Tuesday, to find him a suitable home. Otherwise the dog could be put down.
However, it has now been reported that, despite the deadline passing, the dog will not be put down which has left Freddy ‘elated.’
A friend told The Sun: ‘Freddy had seven days to make a case to save Pablo from death and find him somewhere to stay. He has done that and he has now been assured that the dog won’t be destroyed.
‘What happened was shocking and very sad, but Freddy knows Pablo isn’t a bad dog. He was told a urine infection could have altered his behaviour, and he has not been violent before.
‘For now, Freddy has arranged to have Pablo taken by a specialist trainer who will care for him and get him back to his best before they work out what to do next. Freddy is absolutely elated.’
It comes after Freddy’s ex-girlfriend, Holly Swinburn, claimed that the bulldog which attacked the TV star had been’ mistreated.’
