
Gracie Abrams accompanied Taylor Swift on several Eras Tour shows and got a close-up into the pop superstar’s creative process before she puts on a show for a stadium packed with fans.
The 26-year-old pop superstar was asked about what she learnt in the company of the Grammy winner, 36, by Jake Shane during the Therapuss podcast.
The That’s So True hitmaker took in the question for a second, saying, “Oh goodness,” and then began to explain how being on the Eras Tour was an absolute “masterclass,” calling it “the biggest tour in the history of tours.”
Abrams noted that she got to watch Taylor Swift make the attendees’ experience the best tour experience ever, along with her crew in which everyone is absolutely essential in putting the tour together.
She said that being behind-the-scenes with the Opalitehitmaker and her crew reminded her of “summer camp vibes.”
The Risk songstress went on to add that “I learnt everything, on a personal level i learnt that the show always goes on. You would never know if she was sick, if her heart was aching. She would be doing it with grace and warmth.”
Sharing the clips on social media, fans flocked to the comments and wrote, “TS is the best,” and “Taylor is MOTHER!!!”
A third chimed in, “Imagine being a young artist and getting to watch Taylor’s work ethic, discipline and connection with fans every night. A once-in-a-lifetime experience…”
More added, “You can tell how much that experience changed Gracie as an artist,” and “the stories from that tour must be wild.”
