Harry Styles may have closed the chapter on his romance with Olivia Wilde, but he hasn’t erased it.
The singer surprised fans after quietly attending a screening of Olivia’s new film The Inviteduring his Brazil tour, reportedly arriving with bodyguards and slipping out before the credits rolled to avoid attention.
The low-key appearance has reignited conversation about one of Hollywood’s most talked-about relationships—even as Harry is said to be happily building a future with Zoë Kravitz.
The former couple, who met while filming Don’t Worry Darlingin 2020, split in 2022 after nearly two years together. At the time, sources pointed to demanding schedules, family commitments and mounting public scrutiny.
Olivia recently reflected on that pressure, admitting the backlash surrounding their age-gap romance was impossible to ignore.
“It was crazy. I don’t know how much I understand it yet. I understand it had very little to do with me. People were f*g pd!” she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
She also defended Harry, adding, “I think it also had a lot to do with the kind of parasocial relationship people have with him, which is a burden that is very weighty and not something I envy. He carries it with grace.”
Despite the criticism, Olivia insisted their relationship was genuine.
“We had the loveliest relationship, so, so sweet and beautiful, and really very domestic and kind and lovely.”
Today, both stars have moved on. Harry has been linked to Zoë Kravitz, while Olivia says she’s found peace with boyfriend Caspar Jopling.
“I’m in a really lovely relationship now. I adore him, and I feel completely whole and intact as a person.”
If Harry’s quiet cinema visit proves anything, it’s that supporting an ex doesn’t always mean reopening an old love story. Sometimes, it’s simply respect after the spotlight fades.
