James Middleton has shared a sweet glimpse of his two-year-old son, Inigo, taking in the rare solar eclipse alongside the family dogs.
The younger brother of the Princess of Wales appeared to make the most of Wednesday’s celestial spectacle, capturing his young son as he looked towards the sky.
Inigo was seen sitting on a football and pointing towards the sun, with two dogs beside him and a puppy toy resting nearby.
James appeared amused by the family’s reaction to the unusual sight.
Sharing the photograph, he captioned it: “Solar Eclipse 2026. A strange, beautiful few minutes…”
He also wrote about the dogs: “They weren’t entirely sure what was going on…”
The eclipse was a major astronomical event for skywatchers across the UK, with Royal Museums Greenwich describing it as the country’s most significant solar eclipse since 1999.
