Halle Berryhas been ordered to stay away from her ex-husband Olivier Martinez and their son, Maceo after being accused of child abuse.
According to Peoplemagazine, a Los Angeles County judge approved Martinez’s temporary restraining order on Thursday, October 1, temporarily restricting Berry’s visitation with their 12-year-old son.
Court records reviewed by the outlet show that Berry’s visits are now limited to Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The judge denied Martinez’s request to monitor Berry’s sobriety, citing “insufficient information.”

In his petition, Martinez alleged that Berry had “physically abused our son, Maceo, by jumping on him, putting her hands around his neck, and choking him.” He also claimed the incident occurred on September 26, when Maceo allegedly called him for help.
Berry’s attorney, Marina Beck, denied the accusations in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. “To say this filing is entirely meritless and deliberately misleading would be an understatement,” she said.
Beck also accused Martinez of interfering with their son’s therapeutic and educational interventions. She added that Berry would continue “fighting for Maceo’s best interests.”
Martinez is seeking full custody of Maceo.
The former couple married in 2013, separated in 2015 and finalised their divorce in 2023. Berry also has an 18-year-old daughter, Nahla, with ex Gabriel Aubry.
