The Super Bowl halftime show rumour mill is officially heating up and this time, two massive pop stars are at the center of it.
According to a major news publication outlet, Justin Bieber and Harry Styles are both high on Roc Nation’s shortlist for the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show.
Before fans start rehearsing their dream setlists, it is pertinent to note that neither singer has reportedly been approached yet.
According to TMZ, sources say both would be unlikely to accept the gig if asked.
For now, there is no official announcement but the Super Bowl 2027 rumours already have the internet picking sides.
For many Bieber fans, the argument is simple: the catalog is there.
From Baby, Sorry and Love Yourselfto What Do You Mean?, Peaches, Where Are Ü Nowand Stay, the Grammy winner has spent more than a decade collecting songs that have become fixtures of pop culture.
One fan essentially summed up the argument by saying Bieber “HAS to be chosen.”
Another joked about Bieber’s recent Coachella appearance, “Justin charging his laptop & renewing YT Premium as we speak.”

The joke references the singer’s stripped-back Coachella performance, but fans were clearly imagining what Bieber could do with the full-scale production of a Super Bowl halftime show.
Then came the former One Direction star’s camp.
The Watermelon Sugar hitmaker’s supporters pointed to his global popularity and successful solo career, while others questioned whether his solo catalog could fill a Super Bowl-sized set.
One particularly blunt reaction read¸ “Harry Styles does NOT have the catalog for that.”
Another fan took the Bieber argument even further, “I’d rather listen to Justin with his laptop than Harry with full production.”
Notably, not everyone was excited by the possibility of another male solo artist taking the stage.
Almost immediately, another conversation emerged: fans want a woman to headline.
“I speak for everyone when I say we want a woman,” one user wrote, referring to Ariana Grande as their preferred choice.
Another fan called for Taylor Swift. Others threw Miley Cyrus into the conversation, with one blunt reaction, “Snooze fest. We want Miley.”
Another user pointed out that they would prefer a female headliner after four consecutive male-led shows.
