Kevin Feige finally broke his silence on Adam Driver’s X-Mencasting rumours.
Setting the record very straight, the Marvel Boss admitted that the Ferraristar has yet to join the verse.
He confirmed that the 42-year-old keeps passing on the Marvel role. He even jokingly stated that working with Driver remained a “long lived tradition” of rejection.
“It’s no secret we’d like to [work with Driver],” Feige said in the Happy Sad Confused podcast. “But it’s a tradition to Zoom with him, and then he passes.”
“That’s a long-lived tradition,” he says of Driver repeatedly turning down their proposals.
Feige said that the Girlsalum “couldn’t be more cordial” in his conversations about working with Marvel Studios, adding, “He’s usually upfront about how he is feeling.”
The rumours about Driver’ inclusion in the X-Menbecame rampant as filmmaker Jake Schreier is set to direct the rebootfrom a script being developed by Beef creator Lee Sung Jin and The Bear showrunner Joanna Calo.
