King Charles has taken a much-needed break from royal duties with a huge update about his cancer treatment.

Charles and his wife Queen Camilla paused their day-to-day official royal tasks and are ready to soak in the beauty and peace of the Scottish Highlands.
Emily Andrews, writing for Woman & Home, reported that the King’s doctors are “very pleased” with his medical treatment, providing a sense of relief for royal fans.
The royal author said that King Charles performed engagements in the first of 2026 like his “pre-cancer levels.”
He himself shared in December 2025 that due to early diagnosis and immediate medical assistance, his treatment will be reduced.
This is also evident in King Charles’ latest appearances in Scotland, where he appeared fresh and healthy.
