King Charles enjoyed a quieter Sunday at Balmoral as he stepped out for worship with Queen Camilla and Princess Anne, giving onlookers an unexpected royal treat along the way.
The trio made the short journey from the Scottish estate to Crathie Kirk, the church traditionally attended by the Royal Family during their stays at Balmoral.

Charles, Camilla and Anne have remained at Balmoral after other members of the family began their journeys home from their summer breaks in the Highlands.
The Prince and Princess of Wales had spent time in Scotland with their children, while Zara and Mike Tindall also enjoyed a family stay before returning earlier this week.
