Hello! Magazine quoted the Met Office, sharing that some of the best spots from which one can witness this moment are the King’s Clarence House in London, or his country residence, Highgrove House in Gloucestershire.
However, the monarch is currently in Scotland, as it is the royal family’s tradition to spend this time of the year there.
“The UK will experience a partial solar eclipse on Wednesday 12 August.
“The extent of the Sun’s coverage and the timing of maximum obscuration will differ across the country.
“Never look directly at the Sun; use a pinhole projector or certified eclipse glasses to view it,” Met Office said.
