Prince Harry, despite the challenges he has been facing with security and the “eventful” move back to Britain, has resumed his charitable work with zeal.
Before the Duke of Sussex was officially set to carry out public engagements, King Charles had notified the Sussexes of their royal status – reportedly getting warned only two minutes in advance – in the public letter as “private citizens”.
However, this appeared to have triggered the Sussexes into taking a bold stance for their engagements, backfiring at what the Palace had intended. Despite the turmoil, Harry and Meghan have been keeping it “relatively quiet” about their work and going about their business.

Meanwhile, a source cited by Woman & Homemagazine claims that the couple has “no intention” of fading into obscurity now they are back in Britain.
“It is their [Harry and Meghan’s] belief that they have a great deal to offer charities and good causes that could benefit from their support,” the insider said. “If the King thought that issuing the letter would simply make them fade away, he will be deeply disappointed.”
According to a royal expert, this has not really put King Charles and Prince William at ease as they are taking measures to make sure they are prepared for what’s next.
“King and William will be keeping a very close eye on the moves Harry makes next,” expert Duncan Larcombe said. “Their biggest fear would be for him to fight back publicly by agreeing to an interview citing his frustration.”

The expert explained that any comments from Harry would “inevitably infuriate the Palace, given the lengths they have gone to try and stop Harry continuing as he did across the pond, with those pseudo-royal tours”
He added only time will tell whether the King’s efforts to draw a line in the sand will have the desired effect.
