Prince William has been dealing with a serious challenge after his father, King Charles, took a risky decision.
Welcoming back the Sussexes might be dangerous to the monarchy’s reputation, but the King has still been making one offer after another to Prince Harry.
At first, he hosted Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet at his Highgrove home. Now, there are claims that the monarch offered his son a room at Buckingham Palace for his visit to the UK in September.
Even though in their summer photo dump, Meghan allegedly posted a picture from Althorp House, showcasing the Duke with his kids.
An insider told Woman’s Day, “The fact he’s being afforded a room at Buckingham Palace is a huge gesture.
“It tells the world loud and clear that Charles wants his son to be truly welcomed back inside the fold and that all is essentially forgiven.”
However, William is fuming and struggling to find peace over his father’s decisions.
William is trying not to overreact, but the word is that he’s furious and struggling to understand his father’s decision,” the source said.
“He still wants no part of any meet-up or peace talks with his brother, and that’s unlikely to change between now and September.”
The future King is “reluctantly accepting the fact he can’t stop his father from forging this new bond with Harry, but he’ll be damned if he’s going to be any part of it.”
