Leah Remini is already deep into the drama, less than a week after joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
On Wednesday, September 2, the 56-year-old shared her first Instagram photo alongside fellow castmates Kyle Richards and Sutton Stracke, posing with the trio seated together at a restaurant with food spread out in front of them.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed a bandage emoji placed over Stracke’s face in the snap, with Remini captioning the post playfully: “Not even a week in and Sutton has stitches.”
Stracke, 54, played along in the comments, writing, “You really have a strong right hook! You had me in stitches!!!;)”.
Fans reacted with enthusiasm to the early glimpse of Remini’s new dynamic with the cast, with one writing, “The way I’ve never needed a season more.”
Remini’s casting was confirmed in late August alongside fellow newcomer Tracy Tutor, the former Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star.
The two join returning full-time cast members Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Bozoma Saint John, Rachel Zoe and Sutton Stracke, with Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly returning in “friends of the housewives” roles.
Amanda Frances, who joined for Season 15, was not asked back.
Remini is best known for her decade-long run on The King of Queensand for co-hosting the Emmy-winning A&E docuseries Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermathfollowing her own high-profile departure from the Church of Scientology.
A premiere date for RHOBHSeason 16 has not yet been announced, though filming is already underway.
