Lindsay Lohan gave Miley Cyrus’ latest song, Bass Persuades, her stamp of approval.
The Mean Girlsalum posted a new TikTok video, featuring herself vibing to the Hannah Montana star’s new single.
They stylish transition video began with the Freaky Friday star donning a blue dress layered under a white jacket before switching up her look as the beat dropped, revealing a green co-ord set paired with a matching purse and a cream-coloured cardigan.
“Wait for the drop,” she captioned the video. And, naturally, fans were ready for it.
The timing of her post makes the moment even more fun, because it echoes a sweet piece of pop-culture history between the two stars.
Back in January 2019, Cyrus, 33, shared a video of herself singing and dancing along to Lohan’s 2004 hit Rumorswhile sitting in her car.
The throwback caught fans’ attention, and Lohan, 40, happily returned the love by reposting the moment and responding to Cyrus on her Instagram Story.
Now, more than seven years later, the energy has seemingly come full circle.
This time, it is Lohan dancing along to Cyrus’ music as the latter enters a brand-new chapter of her career.
For the unversed, Cyrus released Bass Persuades on September 3 as the lead single and title track from her upcoming album, which is set to arrive on September 18.
