Lucy Dacus has excited fans beyond measure with an unexpected announcement as she nears the conclusion of her tour.
The 31-year-old indie musician took to Instagram on Tuesday, September 8, and told her fans, “No ThankYou, I Love You, Goodbye. surprise, out tonight, long overdue.”
The Night Shift hitmaker will be releasing the song at midnight, and fans all gathered on social media to celebrate.
One excited fan exclaimed, “LUCY???” while another wrote, “lucy dacus announced she’s releasing a song tonight hehe.”
A third chimed in, “new lucy dacus release tonighy i am so full of joy,” and “‘thank you lucy dacus’ we all say in unison,” wrote one.
More cheered, “ur the best surprise of all month ily what the f,” and “I COULD ACTUALLY CRY.”
