Meghan Markle, on a public platform, put Prince Harry’s ‘separation’ rumours to rest with a heartfelt message.
The Duchess of Sussex made her first public appearance after taking Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to meet King Charles in the UK.
On July 28, she attended the screening of Cookie Queens, a documentary about Girl Scouts, at AMC The Grove in Los Angeles. Harry and Meghan are the executive producers of the project.
During a conversation at the event, she was asked how she gets through “tough moments.” In response, the former Suits actress quoted her husband’s motivating words, clearly debunking talks surrounding the tensions between them.
As per People Magazine, “I think so much of it, funny enough, I was thinking about something my husband told me ages ago, because we all go through experiences and life is full of surprises.
“But you know, he was a helicopter pilot in the British Army for 10 years. And sometimes on really hard days, we were once he said, ‘Hey, but my love, you know, even if there’s a storm happening above the storm, the sun’s always shining.'”
She uplifted the audience, stating that each time we look behind, we will see how many hard battles we survived.
Meghan believes that “no matter what feels insurmountable, there’s just always that sun shining above it.”
The Duchess of Sussex’s fresh statement came after royal commentator Rob Shutter claimed that he was informed by an insider that Harry and Meghan are “living very separate lives now,” raising questions about the future of their marriage.
