Meghan Markle in tears after living a special moment with Prince Harry.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are the executive producers of the documentary Cookie Queens, releasing on August 7.
To promote the film, Meghan attended an event where she opened up about getting “misty-eyed” seeing a scene which touched her as she was herself a Brownie and Junior Girl Scout.
She revealed that the “very special moment” melted her and Harry’s hearts.
According to People, Archie and Lilibet’s mother shared that the upcoming Cookie Queens sheds light on the joys and pressures of girlhood.
She said, “I don’t want to give anything away, but there’s a very special moment when one of the girls accomplishes something she never thought possible.
I get misty-eyed every time I watch that scene. She did it! I feel so proud of her.”
The former working royal hopes that the film will be helpful in empowering young girls.
“Showing young female entrepreneurs, girls with financial literacy, skills that will set them up for future success, and learning how to work to achieve their goals is so inspiring,” Meghan said.
