Meghan Markle received key advice as she let her fear come between her and the height of success in Hollywood.
The Duchess of Sussex has seemingly ‘failed’ to build connections with those watching on their screens with the portrayal of her orchestrated self.
An insider told Closer, “Meghan is too guarded and too self-controlled to succeed in the podcasting world, and she’s afraid to go on other people’s shows where she’ll get asked tough questions in a long-form setting.”
Since quitting the role of active working royal, the Duchess have appeared on multiple interviews and, in recent times, in several podcasts, but fans missed her authentic self.
“Unfortunately, that’s really the only effective avenue to grow a show, and Meghan isn’t willing to go to those lengths.
“After everything she’s been through with her bumpy relocation to America and attempts to make a media fortune, she’s still her own worst enemy,” the source explained.
But, on the other hand, Meghan is reportedly scared of the backlash she gets on a day-to-day basis, even on any photo or video she shared on social media,
Meghan has made her choice to not give any more chances to trolls or critics, as she believes no matter what she does, it backfires.
The source said, “If she goes on a podcast and bares her soul, all that will do is give this army that seems to be against her more ammunition, so it’s understandable that she’d be more than a little hesitant to do that.”
